The Amateur
Fighting Arts Association (AFFA) is a non-profit
organisation incorporated in 2009. The AFAA is an
umbrella body of the Amateur Kickboxing Academy, Ki Wa
Ryu (Karate) Recreational Kickboxing Academy and
Freestyle Boxing.
The mission of the AFAA is as follows:
To offer a coaching program with proficient instruction
in Multi Style Martial Arts to all members.
To provide a fair promotion system based on a schedule of time in grade
for each rank which is open and known to all.
Full Membership of Cobra Martial Arts Association which
is a Governing Body of all Martial arts.
To support and coach fighters who aspire to compete at
local competitions.
The AFAA is also in the process of publishing a series
of Information fact sheets and training manuals
written
by Alan Reid (Founder AFAA).
AFAA Structure:
Volunteer workers run the AFFA. The AFAA is not a
political group.
A permanent three person Board of Governors, who
supervise the structure policies
and finances of the AFAA governs the AFAA.
